With a background in engineering from the University of Michigan, Dean Hachem has spent over two decades building and managing successful ventures in both the hospitality and airport industries. After growing up in Lebanon, Dean found success in Michigan as the owner of The Sheik Restaurant, which became a West Bloomfield favorite in the ‘90s and early 2000s. He later expanded into the aviation sector, leading airport-based operations from 2001 through 2023. A lifelong food enthusiast, Dean enjoys cooking, spending time with family, and sharing his experiences to encourage the next generation of entrepreneurs and learners.
